Announcement regarding project start up

1. COMPA S.A., headquartered in Romania, Sibiu County, 8 Henri Coanda Street,Sibiu, telephone no. +40269/ 239400, fax no. +40269/ 237770 announces start up of the project “Green Innovation in surface protection in the automotive industry – Green Industry – Romania”, project co-financed by “Green Industry Innovation Programme Romania” according to the financing Agreement no. NACIR -2014/113345, concluded with Innovation Norway as programme operator.

2. The total eligible value of the project is 2 740 000 euro, out of which the non-reimbursable financial assistance shall not exceed the amount of 1 370 000 Euro and the value of the non-reimbursable co-financing shall be 50%.

3. The duration of the project implementation is 12 months.

4. The project aims implementing a green and innovative technology in automotive industry which will allow the manufacturing of parts with significantly improved life time, thus reducing the environmental impact. The outcome of the project is implementing greener services with innovative solution for Zn-Ni electroplating with longer life cycle and less environmental impact. Secondary objectives for the project reduce energy consumption and waste water discharges are strengthening bilateral relations through collaboration with a Norwegian Project Partner – Stiftelsen SINTEF with expertise in corrosion.
